Contact forms and email links: Should a visitor choose to contact EVECRI consortium using the contact form on our “Contact us” page or an email link, none of the data supplied will be stored by the EVECRI website or passed to / be processed by any of the third party data processors. Instead the data will be collated into an email and sent to us over the Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP). The used SMTP servers are protected by TLS (sometimes known as SSL) meaning that the email content is encrypted using SHA-2, 256-bit cryptography before being sent across the internet. The email content is then decrypted by the Coordinator’s local computers and devices.
Site visitation and tracking: EVECRI website uses Google Analytics (GA) to track user interaction. This data is used to determine the number of people using our site, to better understand how they find and use our web pages and to see their journey through the website.Although GA records data such as visitor’s geographical location, device, internet browser and operating system, none of this information personally identifies a user. GA also records computer’s IP address which could be used to personally identify users but Google do not grant access to this. Google is a third party data processor. GA makes use of cookies, details of which can be found on Google’s developer guides. EVECRI website uses the analytics.js implementation of GA. Disabling cookies on your internet browser will stop GA from tracking any part of your visit to pages within this website. Sharing information: our website lets you share news and events with others. Remember that when you share information publicly in social networks, it may be indexable by search engines, including Google.
Data Shared within the EVECRI Consortium: The data controller may share data within the Consortium. All partners are required by contract to meet all GDPR requirements. In some cases, EVECRI partners may be required to report certain anonymized statistical information to the managing authorities of the Interreg V-A “Greece-Bulgaria 2014-2020” Cooperation Programme, such as website traffic.
The data controller may also share data with official authorities if required by an administrative or court order, or with auditors.
Data Shared with Third Parties: No personal data collected from this EVECRI website is sold or otherwise shared for the purposes of direct marketing or other commercial purposes.
Email subscription to EVECRI newsletter: currently this option is not active. However if the option is available visitors, who chooses to join EVECRI email newsletter, the email address that they submit will be forwarded to a third party data processor (email marketing services). The email address that visitors submit will not be stored within this website’s own database or in any of our internal computer systems. Subscriber’s mail address will remain within third party data processor’s database for as long as the Consortium maintains services for email marketing or until the subscriber specifically request removal from the list. The subscriber can do this by unsubscribing using the unsubscribe links contained in any email newsletters that are send him or by requesting removal via email. When requesting removal via email, the subscriber should send his email to the website administrator using the email account that is subscribed to the mailing list.
Third party data processors: EVECRI website uses third parties to process personal data (such as Google analytics). These third parties have been carefully chosen and all of them comply with the EU’s GDPR.
Data breaches: We will report any unlawful data breach of this website’s database or the database(s) of any of our third party data processors to any and all relevant persons and authorities within 72 hours of the breach if it is apparent that personal data stored in an identifiable manner has been stolen.
